This image stands out because of the contrast it has but also because of the solid and heavy type it has. In some parts it is a little difficult to distinguish the background and the type, but it is very interesting how the negative space those characters usually have, we don´t see them in this type. That what make interesting this type versus others.

  1. I wonder what this design is for? A poster?

  2. I'm into the filled-in counters of the As and Ps. It relates the letters to the bold shapes behind them.

  3. This has an edgy, handmade feel to it. The Rorschach test image is both creepy and beautiful. The chartreuse ampersand is the only color in the design, and a daring choice. Its position is first, yet you intuitively read "Paper & Plastic." That and the filled-in counters add to the feeling that things are a little "off." Yet as a whole it is just right.
