This image from Communication Art magazine (January/february 2008) caught my attention because of the cleanliness in mixing the real image with the arabic type to complete the shape of the bird. Also because the bird and the letters are painted in black, the white laurel branch stands out to intensify the concept which you can know it by reading the text is on the right-bottom side.
Very interesting!I like the way the text is warped to continue the 3d effect. It's strange seeing a black bird as representative of peace. I'm so used to the dove. I wish I know more about the symbolism of the black bird.
