Like in the last post, this image stand out first because of the color and typography contrast. But when you read the sentence, it makes the design more understandable and clever.  I like how the words "go to the hell" are in that fashion font very organic and lyrical and flow around itself that make me feel that the hell is beautiful and as the following text says "you actually look forward to the trip"
Altough I´m not sure about the underline in the red text, I like how the ascendents and descendents interact with it. Also it is true that the underline make the sentence bolder and overall everything has a good balance.

What make this image stands out, besides the color contrast and the close position of the characters, it is the meaning it has and how the lying "i" gives a funny visual meaning changing the color also. First, you see a bunch or letters together in the middle up part of the design, which is compensated with the empty red space of the bottom and the name of the author's phrase in the same side. Later you realized about the horizontal "i" and the when you read the sentence everything makes sense. It is a clever way to say don't matter if you are old because always will be better that being dead.
At first, it was a little difficult to read because of how close the characters are between each other, but that helps to stands the horizontal "i" out.

This image from Communication Art magazine (January/february 2008) caught my attention  because of the cleanliness in mixing the real image with the arabic type to complete the shape of the bird. Also because the bird and the letters are painted in black, the white laurel branch stands out to intensify the concept which you can know it by reading the text is on the right-bottom side.
